Ghana Expeditions

Location Where to find Hohoe

Over the last 12+ year we have be lucky enough to have a very close relationship with people, teachers and children from a school for the deaf in Hohoe in Ghana. Hohoe is a town and the capital of the mountainous Hohoe Municipality of the Volta Region of Ghana, with its beautiful climate and many tourist attractions like the Wli Waterfalls*. Several expeditions involving Leaders and Explorer Scouts from the Harpenden and Wheathampstead District, headed up by Jo Busby, International ADC, have visited Hohoe to build and make items for the school. Of course strong friendships are made as well as the hard work. Here are some reviews and reports from the time spent there. Please take some time to see how our Young People have helped friends and fellow Scouts in Hohoe. *taken from Google map search
